Great Schools is a national nonprofit whose mission is to inspire and guide parents. Their slogan is “involved parents, successful kids.” To date, it is the most comprehensive education site our research staff has found.
As a parent, test scores are important — but after school programs and extra curricular activities should also be considered. Look at the school’s entire environment, and consider your child’s personality. Some children may thrive in a school with strict routine and structure, while others may fare better in a more creative setting (or a balance of both.)
