Drug Addiction

As defined by the Mayo Clinic, “Drug addiction is a dependence on a street drug or a medication.” An addicted person may not be able to control his/her drug use and may continue using drugs even if it’s driving him/her to serious health complications or tragically — death.   As this is such a serious disease, action is required right now.

The Mayo Clinic is a highly accredited medical practice and research group.   Click below for a comprehensive list of various drug/substance abuse addictions: symptoms, causes and complications.
